The Return.... 5 Wedding Etiquette You Should Know

I am back people.. I know its been awhile but life happened and so I had to take a break from blogging for a while.
Recently, I got crazy about weddings so we are going to dive right in. I got some wedding etiquettes everyone should know...

1) Do not outshine the bride. Dazzling sparkles and sequences will always will outshine the bride particularly on a sunny day!. Avoid head to toe sequence or crotch revealing skirts, aÀnd, remember it's a wedding not the Oscar's
or an award ceremony!! unless of course Nollywood glam is the theme.
It's considered inappropriate to dress head to toe in white to a wedding, that colour is reserved for the bride.
different.

2) Consider the grounds. What will you be walking and standing on on the day of the wedding; marble, polished concrete, floorboards, carpet, soft lawn, sand? If you are on lawn all day opt for a wedge heel, super high stilettos will sink, and remember walking on marble and polished concrete can be like walking on ice so make sure your
shoes are scored with a knife or scuffed with sandpaper prior to wearing them.

3) Arrive on time. This is an obvious rule that everyone seems to ignore. Do not assume everyone else will be late. Remember that the bride and groom have to take family portraits and group shots after the ceremony, so it is important to be mindful of time.

4 Do not make several trips to the buffet. This is such a Nigerian thing, everyone want to take more than they can eat. The buffet at the reception is not a free for all. Keep in mind that all guests need to be fed, so limiting your
trips to buffet is a must.

5) Do not get in the photographer's way.
This can get on the bride's nerves as she may be tired from all the forced smiling.During the ceremony and any other big picture moments (like the first dance or the cake cutting) make sure you pay attention to where the photographer is, especially if you are trying to take your own picture. Try not to block the professional’s shot with your iPhone.
